# Bookwise

> One booking page. For customers and AI. Public guides and live-schema tool reference for independent businesses.

- [Public business directory](https://bookwise.live/explore): published business profiles and direct booking pages.

Reading these resources does not connect an assistant to MCP. Configure an MCP client and discover tools before booking.

## Connection

- Directory: https://bookwise.live/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP).
- Any business: use the directory endpoint and pass the business ID or its booking-page slug as businessId. https://bookwise.live/api/b/{published-slug}/mcp still works but is deprecated.
- Discover tools with tools/list on the selected endpoint before calling them.
- Public discovery needs no login. Booking management requires the indicated token. Owner tools require an owner session and business ownership.
- Follow nextStep. Never report confirmation before status is confirmed.
